Camp Habitat 2020 has ended
Welcome to Camp Habitat 2020!

We’re exploring a new way to conference and network with each other this year, and that involves some cool new technology!

Here on Sched, which we used for last year’s in-person Camp Habitat, you’ll be able to learn about sessions, speakers, and sponsors. When you buy your tickets through Eventbrite HERE, you’ll then be directed to Sched, where you will select the sessions that you would like to attend with the tickets in your package. This is a critical step, because the rosters for those courses will get an email with the link to get into the class no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time.

The conference will be conducted via a platform called Remo. You can learn more about Remo here: https://remo.co/remo-101/. You’ll have an opportunity to get your account set up prior to your seminars. Sara will lead Remo set-up "Office Hours" in the days prior to the conference starting so that you’re ready to go on the day. Keep an eye out for an email with a link to those Office Hours the week before the conference, as well as additional information and tutorials on how to use the platform.

If you have any questions about Remo or Sched, email Sara at sara@habitatnc.org.

I've served as ED for Habitat for Humanity of the NC Sandhills for 6 years and as Finance Director, Board Member and volunteer prior to this role.  I believe one of our most important roles as EDs is to lead our affiliate in a direction that is creative, includes partnership and leverages our assets to their fullest in order to serve more families today and in the future.
